RICS HomeBuyer Report (Survey & Valuation)
The RICS HomeBuyer Report has been specifically designed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a more detailed survey ideal for properties that are of a more modern, traditional type and construction. This report will highlight any major problems inside or outside the property, such as damp or structural movement, and list the problems that the surveyor considers may affect the value of the property. A simple “traffic light” rating system of the elements of the property helps determine the severity of repairs and surveyor will offer professional advice on any repairs and ongoing maintenance.
The RICS HomeBuyer Report (Survey & Valuation) also includes a Market Valuation and Insurance Reinstatement Costs.
If you are purchasing a property over 100 years old, or those that have undergone a major extension/alteration or are listed, we recommend a Building Survey. If you would like to discuss your requirements with one of our survey team please feel free to contact Christopher Chambers or Ashley Cass on 01206 563222.
