Are you looking to purchase your first property? If so, I am sure you have heard the great news already about Stamp Duty relief for first time buyers.
Under the current thresholds, if you are not a first time buyer, the Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) on a property costing £300,000 is £5000. The great news is, if you are a first time buyer, you will pay no SDLT on properties costing up to £300,000 saving £5000! (if purchasing at £300,000.)
What would you put that saving towards?
Increasing your deposit to potentially obtain a lower interest rate on your mortgage?
Furniture for your new home?
Or perhaps towards a new kitchen for your first property? The list is endless!
If you are a first time buyer and would like any help or advice about getting onto the property ladder, contact the team at Nicholas Percival today on 01206 563222. ...

We aim to offer a bespoke service to all our Clients, whether they are looking for a let only service or full management. We take time to speak to our Landlords about the Tenant profile they feel would suit their property and field enquiries carefully with this in mind. When managing, we ensure that all statutory obligations are adhered to and aim to maximise the yield of our Clients investment whilst eliminating the everyday stress of maintenance and rent collection, regularly reporting back and accounting either monthly or quarterly to suit.
